The Caterham Seven Roadsport 125 Monaco comes with a 1.6-litre Ford engine which produces a top speed of 112mph and a power-to-weight ratio of 227bhp per tonne. The 5-speed gearbox propels the lightweight 500kg chassis from 0-60mph in under six seconds and full weather kit means the Roadsport is thoroughly enjoyable in any conditions.

In the cockpit, the theme is naturally continued, with hand-tailored black leather interior featuring red highlights pairing with the black body trim.

For just £20,995, the Roadsport 125 Monaco combines Caterham’s thrilling performance and driving experience with a unique touch of European flare and glamour. However, the first 20 cars to be ordered are available for just £19,995.

The Frecce Tricolori (Italian, literally Tricolour Arrows), officially known as the 313th Aerobatic Training Squadron is the demonstration team of the Italian Air Force, based at Rivolto Air Force Base, in the north-eastern Italian region of Friuli Venezia-Giulia, province of Udine. They were formed in 1961 as an Air Force team, replacing previous teams that had been sponsored by various commands by the end of the 1920s.

The most successful racecars in the history of Formula 1 racing – illustrated by Argentinean artist Jorge Garcia – are now featured in the fascinating 2011 calendar ‘World Champion Cars.’

The artist from Buenos Aires has created unique and highly detailed photo-realistic artworks that show the side profiles of 13 cars that have won the Formula 1 world championship. Starting with Alberto Ascari’s 1952 Ferrari F 500 and ending with Michael Schumacher’s world champion Ferrari F2004 car these works of art document the breathtaking speed of technological development in Formula 1 racing.

The selection of featured racecars reads like the “Who’s Who” of Grand Prix motorsports. Garcia, who has won many international awards for his art, also set his talent to work on the 1954 Mercedes W 196 R Streamliner driven by his legendary compatriot Juan Manuel Fangio. The racing ‘log boats’ of the 1960s are represented by the Ferrari 156, world champion in 1961 with Phil Hill behind the wheel, Jim Clark’s 1965 Lotus Climax and Jackie Stewart’s Matra MS80 from 1969.

The cover of the calendar is dedicated to Emerson Fittipaldi’s legendary Lotus 72. Also included in this collection of Garcia’s impressive masterpieces are Niki Lauda’s Ferrari 313 T2, the 1980 Williams FW07 driven by Alan Jones and the Brabham BT52 BMW piloted by Nelson Piquet. The technological development in Formula 1 during the 1990s is documented by Ayrton Senna’s McLaren-Honda MP4/6 from 1991, Nigel Mansell’s 1992 Williams FW14B Renault and Mika Häkkinen’s 1998 McLaren-Mercedes MP4/13.

Jaguar Celebrates Its 75th Birthday at the Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance

Jaguar has a deep understanding of the word "tradition.” It has been the cornerstone that has ruled the famous luxury car manufacturer from Coventry since its foundation.

In order to celebrate its 75 years of history and English tradition, Jaguar participated in the Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance, held in the fashion high street of Rodeo Drive, in the posh ambiance of Beverly Hills, Calif.

The event is a Father's Day tradition that every year draws thousands of Southern California car aficionados and tourists alike. Born as a Ferrari-only event, it is still organized in partnership with the Italian carmaker. The theme of this year's Concours was "A Different Road," which included an unbelievable range of collectors cars: from the early classics of 1925 - 1948 to European cars and pre-1975 American automobiles. Of course, Jaguar was proud to offer test drives of the all-new 2011 XJ alongside its vintage model line-up. The thousands of attendees were ravished by the astonishing collection of vintage Jaguars on display.

Bruce Meyer, Chairman of the Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance, outlined its creation like a proud father would describe his son's school or sports achievements, "We are on Rodeo Drive, the very famous fashion street and this is a show that I started quite a few years ago. It is about automobiles, fashion and watches. It is a special show because it takes place on Father's Day, so fathers come with no guilt of leaving their families for going to a car show. We have admirers that tell us how much they like cars. People are here for the sport of it and for sharing their cars."

The highlights of the day were the rare 1956 Jaguar D-Type, three-time LeMans winner and also the winner of the Concours' Jaguar "Best in Class" Award; a fabulous 1950 roadster XK120 OTS, famous for its innovative design and for being the world's fastest standard production car at the time of its launch. Another celebrated work of art was the 1964 Jaguar Semi Lightweight E-Type, proudly owned by Meyer.

Being so close to Hollywood, it was a natural consequence to have some celebrity presence. Stars like David Alan Grier ("In Living Color" and "RACE"), Zachary Levi ("Chuck") and James Remar ("Sex in the City" and "Dexter") were all on hand. Moreover, Patrick Dempsey's 1955 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL was a big hit of the event, along with Mel Tormé's 1937 Jaguar SS100 and reality TV star Colby Donaldson's 1969 Camaro.

"A Different Road" is also the slogan of the show-stealing 2011 Jaguar XJ. After attending the Concours, there could not be a better catchphrase for all of the elegant and unique cars displayed on Rodeo Drive. Meyer was also on the Drive Committee for The Robb Report, so he had the chance to test the all-new XJ in Napa Valley, and shared his feelings for the car, "It is absolutely spectacular, it totally took me by surprise, I am a fan of Jaguar and the 2011 XJ performed like a sports car. I liked everything about that car; it is roomy, powerful and has a very solid feeling. It is innovation and tradition."

What an absolutely fantastic way to celebrate Jaguar's 75th birthday and for all the fathers that attended the Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance, it was another testimony of Jaguar's inimitable approach to luxury and tradition.

Citroën DS3 Racing is a special edition with a sports pedigree 100%. Planned for second half 2010, Citroën DS3 Racing exclusive will be limited only 1000 units of production. Mercedes-Benz Classic Day greets Moscow for the 6^th consecutive year

For the sixth time in a row «Mercedes-Benz Classic Club» gathers together car enthusiasts for the Mercedes-Benz Classic Day 2010. Massive oldtimer rally presenting unique cars fr om the infamous Stuttgart brand will take place in Moscow on May 15^th.

On May 15th, 2010 «Mercedes-Benz Classic Club» in partnership with “Mercedes-Benz RUS” company, brand's dealers and partners will start a massive oldtimer rally Mercedes-Benz Classic Day 2010 for the sixth time in a row. The start will be open to public and will be held across the legendary observation deck on Vorobievi Hills in Moscow. Taking part in the competition are more than 40 collectors of retro cars, manufactured in 1930-1970s by Mercedes-Benz company. Among the competitors are famous actors, musicians, businesmen and members of cultural and social elite.

The route of oldtimer rally runs through the historic downtown Moscow. Participants will make a stop on the way in Mercedes-Benz Sever. Veshki. Rally will finish in front of Moscow private collections museum «Autoville», wh ere awarding ceremony and winners gala “Malevich Night” will be held.

In recent years the competition drew attention of many newsmakers. Radio DJs Margarita Mitrofanova and Sergey Stillavin, TV-presenters Alexey Pivovarov, Oxana Robski and Dmitry Dibrov, director Tigran Keosayan, and designer Denis Simachev all took part in Mercedes-Benz Classic Day rally.

Russian Designer Denis Simachëv and Tuner TopCar to Build 25 Limited Edition MINIs

We love customized MINIs like we love air, so seeing a street art-inspired one from Russia made our hearts go all aflutter. Prepared in a strict limited run of 25 unique cars, the Russian artist Denis Simachëv and Russian tuner TopCar will create each car as a wholly unique vehicle.

The white one, called “Bully,” was a desire to “break the stereotype that MINI is mostly a girl’s car.” Simachëv says:

“This car is created for a real ‘bully’ that is fond of easy money. He likes socializing and is desperate to attend fashionable gatherings and parties. A real ‘party animal’, he is just fooling around and looking for an adventure.”

We love the car, and don’t get what they mean. Maybe Ed Hardy shirts haven’t made it to Russia.

Arden to Build 40 Limited Edition MINI Equipe Models

Best known for modifying Land Rover and Jaguar models, German tuner Arden has decided to try its hand at MINI. Arden isn’t exactly unfamiliar with the brand, however, as the new model, the 40th Anniversary MINI Equipe, was built to celebrate 40 years since an Arden-prepped MINI won the British Touring Car Championship.

Outside the car is mostly untouched with just a few updates in the form of stainless steel and chrome grilles. Inside the MINI gets a serious makeover with a two-tone leather package, Alcantara on the dash and stainless steel Arden pedals.

Not to neglect the performance aspect, Arden reprogrammed the ECU, added a larger and more efficient intercooler and threw on an exhaust, bumping output from 172hp and 177 ft-lbs of torque to 212hp and 214 ft-lbs of torque.

To help out int he handling department the modified MINI Cooper S gets a reworked suspension setup that sits 30 mm (roughly 1-inch) lower than stock. Also included are a set of light weight 18×8-inch wheels, which weight just 14.3-lbs each. And inside those front wheels is an impressive braking setup with massive six-piston calipers.

Arden will make just 40 versions of the MINI Equipe.

Arden goes MINI. As a tribute to the legendary victory of the Equipe Arden 1969 Arden created the 40th Anniversary MINI Equipe 2009 as a limited release for the lovers of high quality materials, technical innovations and racing tradition. 40 pieces signed by Jochen Arden will be manufactured in artisanal tradition of automobile passion. Each Arden MINI Equipe is unique, each piece a collector’s item.

The dash board, seats and doors completely enclosed in leather combine sportiness and luxury. The new Arden 2-Tone Design extends over each interior element. Besides hand-stitched and newly revised casings the MINI offers also new approaches in terms of performance and exterior design. Handmade stainless steel and chrome grille adorn the front and rear of the smallest Arden. Extremely light 6.9 kilograms Arden Gram-light aluminum wheels in 8Jx18Zoll provide the necessary grip and reduce the vehicle weight by a few kilograms. The engine also received a manual work-over. The revised engine electronics, a new intercooler and a complete stainless steel exhaust system with racing catalytic converters give the MINI a performance gain of approximately 50nm and 40PS. A nice side effect is the robust sound which clearly says, I am more than a standard MINI.

To keep the performance on track, there is a special Arden sport suspension which lowers the vehicle’s height and focus for about 30mm. High-performance 6-piston brakes at the front axle, guarantee for the necessary delay and remain stable and dosable even after a long, hard and resistant strain.
